I had the privilege of working with an incredible digital team to help elect Justin Trudeau Canada’s 23rd Prime Minister. We built the online experience of the campaign.
My role involved mainly web design and development. One of the products I am most proud of is the biography page we created for Prime Minister Trudeau, using images, animation, and a first-person narrative to tell Canadians his story. Here is the live site.
Another product I enjoyed creating: three pages highlighting the centrepiece policy commitments of the campaign. You can see the page on infrastructure spending here. It was fun to incorporate some of the incredible video and photography available to us and communicate dense policy in an interesting way. See the finished product.
On a less serious note, I worked on a campaign to encourage Canadians to talk to their families about the election over the thanksgiving break. Our talented writers produced fantastic, hilarious copy to work with and I did my best to turn it into a fun and engaging product. Here is the live page.
Working on the campaign was the opportunity of a lifetime. It was thrilling to create work that millions of people saw, and do it together with such talented and dedicated colleagues. This was one of the most demanding jobs I’ve done, and one of the most rewarding.
